Began VII summit for the alliance for the people of our america  (ALBA)

Guayaquil - Ecuador, July 30th.- The President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, took welcome the Presidents and official delegations, and said: "The ALBA is anti-imperialist" and that is one of the struggles that they must give in the world "it is against injustice and the imperial market, which continues its attempts to impose a world order that is unjust, immoral. It is amazing how justice is on the side of who has the greatest strength. Against this background, we must act effectively and efficiently."

With the presence of the presidents who make up the Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), begins the XII ALBA Summit in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

At the regional meeting attended the head of state of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro; Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega; Bolivia, Evo Morales; and Ecuador, Rafael Correa, along with the prime ministers of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit; St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves; and the Prime Minister of State attached to the Ministry of Agriculture of Antigua and Barbuda, Codrington Chanlah.

One of the topics to be developed in the ALBA Summit is the energy issue; the alliance to develop social, educational and social missions projects. It will also advance in the consolidation of the Unitary System of Regional Compensation (Sucre).

Correa stressed that America lives a real democratic change. "We can not allow the inter-American system break our people human rights, our rights. It is irrational that the ISHR has as headquarters the country that promotes the criminal blockade against the people of Cuba."

Ecuadorian President added: "Why to have the OEA if we can not solve the problems of the Falklands. Until when will we tolerate many complicit silence?, we can no longer tolerate these contradictions. If we remain silent, we will be complicit in these abuses. No more neocolonialism."

Correa says is necessary to have a large unit homeland: "It is a necessity, is a shield against exploitation, against neocolonialism."

He warned that America should be aware of the internal dangers that arise with new labels: "The media power, which we have been defeating in several elections since they replace political parties. The media power is the big loser. NGOs demonize the State; demonize politics, they call themselves the civil society, which are those with the answer to their problems. Where is the democratic legitimacy of these organizations seeking to impose a hidden agenda, which has not been legitimized by the popular vote? The right wing has infiltrated these social organizations."

Finally, President Correa invited to take concrete steps to give feasibility to the projects within the ALBA decision: "We will make decisions to ensure the success of this historic moment we are living in our America. Integration is needed, that is precisely why we are here in the ALBA meeting and this is a step to achieve the Great Fatherland dreamed by our liberators. Ever onward to victory.
